OUT OF CHARACTER
As we are a roleplaying guild, we will only take those applicants on who are enthusiastic about RP. You don't have to be a lore know-it-all, or turn into a walking dictionary to join us however some basic knowledge is prefered. The Marauders however wont hesitate to educate you on what you need, considering you're willing to learn! We do also offer a raid team, and a PvP team that you will have the chance to join if you are accepted into the Marauders.
(Q): Please note any RP experience you have (The Marauders are willing to help you if you lack experience considering you are willing to learn!)
(A):I have done my fair share of RP such as being a guard to being a criminal. I have done mostly Alliance RP in the past so Horde is a new thing to me.
(Q): Why do you want to join us?
(A): Because I want to have a good first Horde RP expierience with people who are very activly RPing.
(Q): What is your own definition of roleplay?
(A): Emmersing yourself within a game and making a character that lives in that world and alsmost becoming that person (in a way...) but you can't do anything that would be deemed as "God emoting" or "Meta-gaming".
(Q): What do you think makes a good roleplayer?
(A): I wouldn't say I'm a good Role Player but I do try and create casual RP sometimes (even though ICly that won't really get promotions) because I do enjoy casual RP.
(Q): Do you wish to raid with us? If so what experience do you have.
(A): I am extremely new to raiding because it took me a while to even get into healing in LFR but in the future I might.
(Q): Are you interested in PvP such as rated battlegrounds and arena groups? If so, what experience do you have with these
(A): I am not really into rated battlegrounds but I have done arena healing before in 2v2 in 5.3 .
(Q): How did you hear about the Shatterskull Marauders? (Forum, friends, ingame etc)
(A): When I was leveling an Orc shaman around Sen'jin I saw alot of you RPing and I listened in and it sounded very fun and you were quite active as well.
IN CHARACTER (Meaning it's a dialog)
Greetings potential Marauder. It is required of you to answer a series of questions in moderate detail so we can assess your suitability to us. We are a warband built on bloodthirst, strategy, honour, strength and respect. If you lack these, you are not the candidate for us. However, if you think you have what it takes, carry on!
(Q): Please state your name and the race that you hail from.
(A): Elothos, I am a Sindorei or a Bloodelf in other terms.
(Q): Why do you wish to join the warband?
(A): To fight the Alliance and heal my friends with the use of light, I was aspiring to go on to the Blood Knights but I thought that my skills lie elsewhere...
(Q): While with us, you will be required to fight. Are you willing to fight to the best of your ability for the sake of the Horde and the warband?
(A): Yes, I am willing to fight and do what ever else is required of me.
(Q): Please tell us a bit about yourself, this can be personal history, hobbies, or anything.
(A): My family which is my Mother, Father and Sister all do there bit for my race. My mother helps as a Magister and my Father is still on the Isle of Quel'Danas and my sister is being an apprentice to my mother. I myself followed my Fathers path but when he went to the Isle to help the Blood Knights he wished for me to become one also but I thought different to help the greater good which is the Horde itself by looking for work as such with my skills.
(Q): We are considered an elite fighting force amongst the Horde. What have you trained and specialized in? What makes you unique in combat?
(A): I use the Blood Elves use of light so I can heal my allies with holy light and attack my foes with righteous light. I am more trained in the ways of healing but I can defend myself and do my fair share of combat.
(Q): We as a warband are not fond on cowardice, disobedience, or lack of strength. How will you plan to prove to us you lack these traits during your initiation period?
(A):I shall try to hide any fear that I have and if I do not agree with an order I shall swallow my pride and follow the orders out to the letter and as a lack of strength I agree you need some physical strength but I most my pure strength from the light.
The Alliance have launched an assault on the Horde of vast proportions. Your home city is under siege, you are defending the walls against your race's foes.
Caught on patrol whilst trying to reach you, your friends in the Marauders are taken prisoner by the Alliance, and in time will be executed. Your people will never allow you to leave; you can only abandon your post in secret. Leaving your post leaves a blind spot in your city’s defenses, one the Alliance are sure to notice and use to break through the walls.
If you rescue your friends, there is no chance you will be able to re-enter your city.
There is no chance the other races of the Horde can send military forces to your home city as they are fighting on their own fronts.
Time is growing short...
(Q): Do you abandon your post and leave your city to die or do you break out under cover of darkness to rescue your friends?
(A): As I am more of a Paladin that aids people than attacks I would find it hard to fight my way to my friends alone so if I cannot persuade anyone to come with me I would still try to get to my friends because I would die anyway if I was to stay so I'd rather go down fighting for something good than dying in guilt of my own selfishness and that friendship is a bond that ties people together and if that bond is broken at any time other than death then their friendship is no more.
