As we are a roleplaying guild, we will only take those applicants on who are enthusiastic about RP. You don't have to be a lore know-it-all, or turn into a walking dictionary to join us however some basic knowledge is prefered. The Marauders however wont hesitate to educate you on what you need, considering you're willing to learn! We do also offer a raid team, and a PvP team that you will have the chance to join if you are accepted into the Marauders.

(A): Hello Marauders i currently have no experience in roleplaying. But i would really like to learn the ways of a roleplayer.
(Q): Why do you want to join us?
(A): I have played world of warcraft for about three years now and i feel like i want to try something new in the game and i heard of roleplaying so i decided to boost a character on defias brotherhood in the hopes to join a roleplaying guild and i saw your guild in the trade chat.
(Q): What is your own definition of roleplay?
(A): The way i understand roleplay is the you try to make something that is not real as real as possible by playing a role as close to reality as possible.
(Q): What do you think makes a good roleplayer?
(A): Someone who truly does everything to try and convince not only himself but others that the role he is playing is real.
(Q): Do you wish to raid with us? If so what experience do you have.
(A): I currently have no experience in raiding as i've always been a pvp'er and pvping is most likely what i want to focus on but i can't say that i won't catch an interrest for pve in the future.
(Q): Are you interested in PvP such as rated battlegrounds and arena groups? If so, what experience do you have with these
(A): Im very interrested in pvp and have been playing it for a long time i always try to better myself. whether it be rbgs or arena im very interrested in both. Currently on my character kredgoth my rating is quite low as he is still gearing but some of my other characters have been around 1800-1850.
(Q): How did you hear about the Shatterskull Marauders? (Forum, friends, ingame etc)
(A): I saw it in tradechat a character named Jaif was posting about the guild.

Greetings potential Marauder. It is required of you to answer a series of questions in moderate detail so we can assess your suitability to us. We are a warband built on bloodthirst, strategy, honour, strength and respect. If you lack these, you are not the candidate for us. However, if you think you have what it takes, carry on!
(Q): Please state your name and the race that you hail from.
(A): I am Kredgoth i was born human but enslaved and reanimated by the lich king where i served in his army of scourge. As lady sylvannas windrunner helped break the lich king's chains on me i allied with her and now belong to the undead race.
(Q): Why do you wish to join the warband?
(A): I wish to destroy the alliance and earn my rankings as true champion of the horde and the warband.
(Q): While with us, you will be required to fight. Are you willing to fight to the best of your ability for the sake of the Horde and the warband?
(A): For the horde and the warband I will fight until there's nothing left to fight for.
(Q): Please tell us a bit about yourself, this can be personal history, hobbies, or anything.
(A): As a human i was a warrior named ravengaar fighting as a mercenary when i was captured by the lich king i was infused with unholy power that gave me control of shadow magic. As i broke the lich king's grasp my control over shadow magic didn't cease to exist. i used the powers that had been granted to me and started specializing in the arts of dark magic i also changed my name to kredgoth as it seemed more apropiate to my new field of study. As a hobby i have a rare love for human flesh.
(Q): We are considered an elite fighting force amongst the Horde. What have you trained and specialized in? What makes you unique in combat?
(A): My skills with the dark arts make me a very good assets if the alliance choose to attack as i have several ways to end their lifes. Some people would refer to me as a shadow priest.
(Q): We as a warband are not fond on cowardice, disobedience, or lack of strength. How will you plan to prove to us you lack these traits during your initiation period?
(A): When my allys are in need or danger i will defend them by destroying thoose who wish to do them harm i also have few tricks in my sleeve if healing is needed i do not use it often though as it causes immense pain to my body. though that pain will be taken with easy if it saves the life of an ally.
The Alliance have launched an assault on the Horde of vast proportions. Your home city is under siege, you are defending the walls against your race's foes.
Caught on patrol whilst trying to reach you, your friends in the Marauders are taken prisoner by the Alliance, and in time will be executed. Your people will never allow you to leave; you can only abandon your post in secret. Leaving your post leaves a blind spot in your city’s defenses, one the Alliance are sure to notice and use to break through the walls.
If you rescue your friends, there is no chance you will be able to re-enter your city.
There is no chance the other races of the Horde can send military forces to your home city as they are fighting on their own fronts.

(Q): Do you abandon your post and leave your city to die or do you break out under cover of darkness to rescue your friends?
(A): My powers with the dark arts gives me the ability to create illussions off myself i place an illussion at my post so the alliance cannot see the blind spot. Then i sneak out of the city to rescue my friends. as i near the encampment i sneak close up to the cages where i break the locks and set my allys free. Together we slay the alliance in the encampment and travel back to the city where i sneak in and retake the post where my illussion was.
