As we are a roleplaying guild, we will only take those applicants on who are enthusiastic about RP. You don't have to be a lore know-it-all, or turn into a walking dictionary to join us however some basic knowledge is prefered. The Marauders however wont hesitate to educate you on what you need, considering you're willing to learn! We do also offer a raid team, and a PvP team that you will have the chance to join if you are accepted into the Marauders.

(Q): Please note any RP experience you have (The Marauders are willing to help you if you lack experience considering you are willing to learn!)
(A): To be completely honest I don't really have any RP experience, I have done small amounts now and again, but it's something that i have never really had the chance to properly get involved in, and this guild seems like the perfect place for me to do that!

(Q): Why do you want to join us?
(A): Because I am returning to WoW from a bit of a break and I need a guild, I want to join an RP guild to get involved and all together get a better experience out of my game.

(Q): What is your own definition of roleplay?
(A): Roleplay is whatever you want it to be, that's the point its your role, it's all about finding your own story, getting involved in others, and all around having fun.

(Q): What do you think makes a good roleplayer?
(A): Somebody who is just willing to relax get into the kick of it and give themselves and other players a good experience.

(Q): Do you wish to raid with us? If so what experience do you have.
(A): I have raided in the past, but any raiding I have done is more casual, so I can't say i'm going to be looking at getting into your top of the board 25 man team, but if there was a guild raid which needed spaces filling and i had good enough gear then i'm always up for it.

(Q): Are you interested in PvP such as rated battlegrounds and arena groups? If so, what experience do you have with these
(A): PvP is more my thing, I would be more into the rated/normal bg's though, arena is fun but I prefer the bigger sized areas and more players on the battleground, the more the merrier right?

(Q): How did you hear about the Shatterskull Marauders? (Forum, friends, ingame etc)
(A): I was searching on trade chat for a guild to join and i got recommended this guild by a random from trade chat.

IN CHARACTER (Meaning it's a dialog)
Greetings potential Marauder. It is required of you to answer a series of questions in moderate detail so we can assess your suitability to us. We are a warband built on bloodthirst, strategy, honour, strength and respect. If you lack these, you are not the candidate for us. However, if you think you have what it takes, carry on!

(Q): Please state your name and the race that you hail from.
(A): Name? my name has become Rawsteps, not originally, but it was given to me.

(Q): Why do you wish to join the warband?
(A): FOR BLOOD & HONOR! revenge. Revenge on the Alliance, since a very long time ago it was a personal vow to eradicate every single last member of the Alliance, no matter how long it takes, or how hard it becomes, taking down the Alliance one at a time, I will get my revenge.

(Q): While with us, you will be required to fight. Are you willing to fight to the best of your ability for the sake of the Horde and the warband?
(A): I do not mean to appear as rude, but I don't believe this questions is required, the answer is obvious.

(Q): Please tell us a bit about yourself, this can be personal history, hobbies, or anything.
(A): When very young all my closest people were taken by the Alliance, and left me for dead, I don't know if i was lucky that day or not but I survived, I was found weak and half dead by a few traveling demon worshippers, they healed me back to full health, raised me, trained me, they realised my control over dark magic and the summoning and controlling of demons was, different to others, they invested time and saved my life and gave me otherworldly powers.

(Q): We are considered an elite fighting force amongst the Horde. What have you trained and specialized in? What makes you unique in combat?
(A): Manipulation and mastery of dark magic, summoning and control of dark demons from the twisting nether. What makes me unique in combat? well, as I have explained I lost a lot from a young age, and you never want to fight somebody who has nothing left to loose.

(Q): We as a warband are not fond on cowardice, disobedience, or lack of strength. How will you plan to prove to us you lack these traits during your initiation period?
(A): I don't really know how to answer this question, I'm hardly going to clean your shields for you, and I'm certainly not going to wipe the blood from your boots, but I am willing to do what must be done to achieve what must be.

The Alliance have launched an assault on the Horde of vast proportions. Your home city is under siege, you are defending the walls against your race's foes.
Caught on patrol whilst trying to reach you, your friends in the Marauders are taken prisoner by the Alliance, and in time will be executed. Your people will never allow you to leave; you can only abandon your post in secret. Leaving your post leaves a blind spot in your city’s defenses, one the Alliance are sure to notice and use to break through the walls.
If you rescue your friends, there is no chance you will be able to re-enter your city.
There is no chance the other races of the Horde can send military forces to your home city as they are fighting on their own fronts.
Time is growing short...

(Q): Do you abandon your post and leave your city to die or do you break out under cover of darkness to rescue your friends?
(A): Although a proud member of the Blood Elf race, when I was left for dead my people sent no search party, no help, no care. I was fortunate enough to be rescued by demon worshippers, in this kind of situation I would save the Marauders.
