As we are a roleplaying guild, we will only take those applicants on who are enthusiastic about RP. You don't have to be a lore know-it-all, or turn into a walking dictionary to join us however some basic knowledge is prefered. The Marauders however wont hesitate to educate you on what you need, considering you're willing to learn! We do also offer a raid team, and a PvP team that you will have the chance to join if you are accepted into the Marauders.

(Q): Please note any RP experience you have (The Marauders are willing to help you if you lack experience considering you are willing to learn!)
(A): I don't really have much of RP experience, because I come from russian servers, which lack RP realms and there is really small RP community. Though few years ago I've played D&D parties with my pals.

(Q): Why do you want to join us?
(A): I was looking for a nice social guild of people, who not only are pleasant to speak to, but as well enjoy the lore of Warcraft and look at the game not only as at a set of numbers and gear, but also as at a world full of living characters.

(Q): What is your own definition of roleplay?
(A): It's when you look at the game you play through the eyes of your character, not only through your own.

(Q): What do you think makes a good roleplayer?
(A): It's pretty much what I've said about my definition of a roleplay: you gotta be able to look at the game you play and the world you live in (in game, i mean) through your characters' eyes.

(Q): Do you wish to raid with us? If so what experience do you have.
(A): Why, of course. I'm low level yet, but I quite enjoy raiding. Experience? Well, I've missed whole Mists of Pandaria (haven't played for 2 years), raided just a bit in Cata, a little bit in WoTLK, but I really loved raiding in vanilla and BC, completed most of the raids, as far as I can recall (played on private servers many, many years ago).

(Q): Are you interested in PvP such as rated battlegrounds and arena groups? If so, what experience do you have with these
(A): Yes, I love PvP, I was quite good at it back in the time, though me and my friend didn't achieve any great victories at arena, but I was a decent paladin back then As for the battlegrounds, I'm not so keen on this meatgrinder, but it would be fun to play as team.

(Q): How did you hear about the Shatterskull Marauders? (Forum, friends, ingame etc)
(A): I asked in /2 channel and some paladin (don't remember his name) recommended me your guild amongst other two.



IN CHARACTER (Meaning it's a dialog)
Greetings potential Marauder. It is required of you to answer a series of questions in moderate detail so we can assess your suitability to us. We are a warband built on bloodthirst, strategy, honour, strength and respect. If you lack these, you are not the candidate for us. However, if you think you have what it takes, carry on!

(Q): Please state your name and the race that you hail from.
(A): I'm Iath. I'm what you call an undead.

(Q): Why do you wish to join the warband?
(A): I hope to find answers to my life. Yes, you heard that right. I want to know who I was before I died. Why do you think they call me 'Iath the Pilgrim'? Ever since one of the val'kiras woke me up I've been wandering the world, trying to find out who I was and realise who I am.

(Q): While with us, you will be required to fight. Are you willing to fight to the best of your ability for the sake of the Horde and the warband?
(A): Though I have my own priorities, I was never against a good fight. Of that I'm sure.

(Q): Please tell us a bit about yourself, this can be personal history, hobbies, or anything.
(A): I don't know much about my current or past self. That is my goal, that is my burden. I need to know. I need to figure things out. As I've already told you, since the day I woke up in my undeath, I've been roaming around the world, striving for answers. But my search was futile. I haven't learned much.
Though in those travels I've learned how to skin animals, how to fish. And how to make things out of leather and animal hides. I had to pay for the shelter. You know, coffins aren't cheap these days *laughs*.

(Q): We are considered an elite fighting force amongst the Horde. What have you trained and specialized in? What makes you unique in combat?
(A): Have you seen this? No? Well, here's your money pouch. *hands over the pouch* This is me trying to tell you I'm sneaky. And I can be of great value, if used strategically on the battlefield. Need to slit somone's throat so the peeople surrounding the victim will only see the body hitting the floor, but no assassin? You call me. Need to steal something? You call me. Well, I guess you got it.

(Q): We as a warband are not fond on cowardice, disobedience, or lack of strength. How will you plan to prove to us you lack these traits during your initiation period?
(A): Do you have to prove that you can breath? Eat? I don't think so. And so you will see that I lack these feats and have all the necessary ones. Just give it a lil' time. Or you can test me, if you have need for it.

The Alliance have launched an assault on the Horde of vast proportions. Your home city is under siege, you are defending the walls against your race's foes.
Caught on patrol whilst trying to reach you, your friends in the Marauders are taken prisoner by the Alliance, and in time will be executed. Your people will never allow you to leave; you can only abandon your post in secret. Leaving your post leaves a blind spot in your city’s defenses, one the Alliance are sure to notice and use to break through the walls.
If you rescue your friends, there is no chance you will be able to re-enter your city.
There is no chance the other races of the Horde can send military forces to your home city as they are fighting on their own fronts.
Time is growing short...

(Q): Do you abandon your post and leave your city to die or do you break out under cover of darkness to rescue your friends?
(A): In my travels I've learned not to trust people. And I'm hard on getting new friends. But once someone somehow manages to become my friend, I'll do anything for them.
City can be retaken, but a dead friend will stay dead.
