As we are a roleplaying guild, we will only take those applicants on who are enthusiastic about RP. You don't have to be a lore know-it-all, or turn into a walking dictionary to join us however some basic knowledge is prefered. The Marauders however wont hesitate to educate you on what you need, considering you're willing to learn! We do also offer a raid team, and a PvP team that you will have the chance to join if you are accepted into the Marauders.

2) Why do you want to join us?

I am very interested in the RP and PvP, The guild which I was officer for attempted to create a RBG team and such but it didn't work out, also they did not obey the rules of RP similar to those below.

3) What is your own definition of roleplay?

Taking on the role of the character you are, portraying him as if he or she were you.

4) What do you think makes a good roleplayer?

Maturity, patientce, understanding and open minded, not afraid to try new things.

5) Do you wish to raid with us? If so what experience do you have

No thanks, I don't really PvE, I have PvP gear so i would be more than useless. Although, I did grind every Cataclysm raid apart from dragonsoul and bastion of twilight. It was for my Transmorg heroic set. and I lead them also.

6) Are you interested in PvP such as rated battlegrounds and arena groups? If so, what experience do you have with these

Yes. I have had about 100 games experience in arenas, I think more than that, i have played around 20 RBGs but I am looking for a more permanant team to get that 2.2k rating!

7) How did you hear about the Shatterskull Marauders? (Forum, friends, ingame etc)

Ingame, friend has met them RPing and such, heard they are good at PvP

Greetings potential Marauder. It is required of you to answer a series of questions in moderate detail so we can assess your suitability to us. We are a warband built on bloodthirst, strategy, honour, strength and respect. If you lack these, you are not the candidate for us. However, if you think you have what it takes, carry on!

General Questions

1) Please state your name and the race that you hail from.

Eedor. Eedor Runefrost. Sin'Dorai

2) While with us, you will be required to fight. Are you willing to fight to the best of your ability for the sake of the Horde and the warband?

Been fighting for a while. Ever since my dad left, so yes. I will fight, Only if the cause is great enough. If the cause is killing Alliance then sure. I'm in.

3) Please tell us a bit about yourself, this can be personal history, hobbies, or anything.

Coming from a background of high demand Eedor has never had the chance to experience a normal lifestyle, until now.
He was raised by his father and was taught to harness magic from a young age, his father was always a very strict Elf, He would demand Eedor to study all day and all night. Due to Eedor being taught this lifestyle he did not know any better. He had never been in the company of friends or women apart from his distant mother who dispised him from the moment he was Born.

One day whilst studying underneith the Tree of wisdom he heard a voice in the distance, It was a voice of distress.

He carefully placed his book down, remembering the page he was on as he done so and began to follow the crying voice. He came to a river where to his amazement, he saw Woman, drowning. Having only trained in the Arcane arts he was unsure of how to handle this situation. He had a choice, a choice that would change his way of life. forever.

He jumped into the freezing cold water, barely being able to catch a breath as he did. He swam over and pulled the woman out. She looked up at him, smiled. The most beautiful smile he had ever laid eyes on and right before his eyes, she had vanished. He was so stunned at what he had happened that he ran back to go tell his father.

As Eedor ran through the Hallway he heard a crash of China against the wooden floor in the living room. He opened the door to find his father sitting on the floor, resting one are on his stomach and the other on a nearby chair trying to pull himself up onto. Eedor, stunned ran over to help him. "Father" he said "What happened to you?!" His father told him that it had been the alliance. They wanted money that he just couldn't afford. "Eedor" His father said. "Go to Silvermoon and take this. He had handed Eedor a backpack with a mysterious Stone. "This stone will always bring you home." Eedor then attempted healing spell which was too advanced for him, causing Eedor to become unconcious for several hours. When he woke his father was gone. All that was left was a note saying the 5 words Eedor had longed to hear since he was Small "I'm proud of you son"


Eedor soon set of on his journey to mysterious lands. As he walked past the tree of wistom one last time he saw his books he had left there. Picking up carefully and putting them into his backpack, promising to himself that he will maintain his studies so that his father will remain proud...

4) We are considered an elite fighting force amongst the Horde. What have you trained and specialized in? What makes you unique in combat?

I have spent years Studying many forms of magic, I seem to have a natural thirst for it. for power. I specialize in frost spells now, they seem the most appropriate... Most deadly.

5) We as a warband are not fond on cowardice, disobedience, or lack of strength. How will you plan to prove to us you lack these traits during your initiation period?

The moment I step foot onto the battleground I show no mercy, no restraint, be it friend or foe who wishes to... test my capabilites. I am a proud Elf, always admired the Ranking system and know my place depending on what Rank I am placed, I used to be a skilled leader in a Warband, but also know how to behave when lower down in the ranks, as I worked my way up though obedience and strength.

6) What makes you think you are appropriate material for the warband?

You want to find out? I wouldn't mind showing you my.. capabilities, as long as it isnt desobedient to those who are a higher ranking than me.. But I dont always think of power, I often use my spells to aid others to bring a swift and harsh victory.

7) Why do you wish to join the warband?

For the same reason that this Warband was formed. bloodthirst, strategy, honour, strength and respect.

8 ) We look for experience, but training is given to those with an eager mind to learn our ways. State any previous war and combat experience you have had, including rank and role.

I was a commanding officer in a warband not long ago, lead many fights against the alliance whilst dealing swift punishment to any of those who are disobedient towards mine or fellow officers commands and judgement.


Moral Question

9) The Alliance have launched an assault on the Horde of vast proportions.

Caught on patrol, your friends and allies were taken prisoner by the Alliance, and in time are likely to be executed. You avoided capture.
Meanwhile, your races capital city is slowly being lain siege to, and are desperately calling for any and all aid.

Only you know what direction your friends and allies were taken.
There is no chance the other races of the Horde can send military forces to your home city, as they are fighting on their own fronts.

Time is growing short.
Do you help your friends and allies, or do you ride in aid of your capital city?

I would go help my friends and allies. You can always re capture a lost city, but you can never replace friends and allies.

And Finally

10) Last but not least, are you prepared to show respect and obedience towards your superiors by following orders and addressing them in the correct manner? We as a warband work around a hierarchy of ranks, whilst every Marauder is entitled to their opinion, this hierarchy MUST be respected or the consequences are faced.

Of course, I wouldn't join if there was no form of disapline

I have been RPing ever since I joined WoW, Eedor being my first character I have been able to embody the character though time, I know him well. I have been in quite a few RP situations, both serious and casual.

I heard about this battle a few days ago, seems like something that could use to prove myself worthy.
