OUT OF CHARACTER
As we are a roleplaying guild, we will only take those applicants on who are enthusiastic about RP. You don't have to be a lore know-it-all, or turn into a walking dictionary to join us however some basic knowledge is prefered. The Marauders however wont hesitate to educate you on what you need, considering you're willing to learn! We do also offer a raid team, and a PvP team that you will have the chance to join if you are accepted into the Marauders.
(Q): Please note any RP experience you have (The Marauders are willing to help you if you lack experience considering you are willing to learn!)
(A): I have some experience, I joined the Orcs of the Red Blade a long time ago, and even the Shatterskulls with Roxza. Unfortunately I stopped playing WoW right after that.
(Q): Why do you want to join us?
(A): Although it was really short, I enjoyed my time with you guys, on the battlefield (BG's), but also during the few events I joined.
(Q): What is your own definition of roleplay?
(A): Having fun and giving a whole new dimension to this game. It’s feels like a playing instead of reading a fantasy novel, and you play your part the best you can to make the story as epic as possible!
(Q): What do you think makes a good roleplayer?
(A): Someone who respects other players playing their role and being able to make the story at hand more grandeur, or fun!
(Q): Do you wish to raid with us? If so what experience do you have.
(A): Would be nice, I have some experience, started raiding in the BC, did Kharazan (loved that place), since then mostly LFR, normal/flex. At this point I'm geared for normal HFC.
(Q): Are you interested in PvP such as rated battlegrounds and arena groups? If so, what experience do you have with these

(Q): How did you hear about the Shatterskull Marauders? (Forum, friends, ingame etc)
(A): 've always loved the PvP side of this game, from random BG's to RBG and Arena. Always really enjoy it with a nice group of people.
IN CHARACTER (Meaning it's a dialog)
Greetings potential Marauder. It is required of you to answer a series of questions in moderate detail so we can assess your suitability to us. We are a warband built on bloodthirst, strategy, honour, strength and respect. If you lack these, you are not the candidate for us. However, if you think you have what it takes, carry on!
(Q): Please state your name and the race that you hail from.
(A): Mok’ra, my name be Beorna Mistrunner.
(Q): Why do you wish to join the warband?
(A): Well, short answer to that be dat my former warband was wiped out by Kor’kron scum. I was part of a splinter faction, sided with Vol’jin. But our activities were dicovered because we were ratted out. I escaped execution while I was recovering from being severely injured during the campaign in Pandaria. The sad thing is, I now need a new band of brothers and sisters, because nobody is left. I have heard you is a honorable lot. So well here I am.
(Q): While with us, you will be required to fight. Are you willing to fight to the best of your ability for the sake of the Horde and the warband?
(A): Definitely. While I was severely injured, my wounds were treated by a Pandaren monk, he learned me how to fight as one of them, even showed me the way of mistweaving, that was how I was healed.
(Q): Please tell us a bit about yourself, this can be personal history, hobbies, or anything.
(A): Left my clan and family while I was young, parents wanted me do become a shaman, like my sister, but I just wanted to explore the world. So I joined this warband I told you about. A great lot, honorable and very diverse. Many were in it for the riches yes, but there was a lot of mutual respect allthough we were all from different places and backgrounds. During Garrosh’s reign, thinks got more complicated, we decided to join the rebellion, but a few of us secretly sided with Garrosh, and we were exposed. End of story, most of us are dead, fled… Don’t want to make this to dramatic! err, you asked about hobbies aye, I like to explore, learn new things. I’m Intrested in different cultures and such.
(Q): We are considered an elite fighting force amongst the Horde. What have you trained and specialized in? What makes you unique in combat?
(A): Well I was a warrior once, still am but recently learned some new set of skills, I can weave the mist to heal allies. And learnt how to fight effectively with whatever my surroundings have to offer, from the Pandaren monk. Even learnt how to use kegs of beer, he was a crazy fellow, and often drunk…But a great master aswell, he still teaches me when I’m able to visit Pandaria.
(Q): We as a warband are not fond on cowardice, disobedience, or lack of strength. How will you plan to prove to us you lack these traits during your initiation period?
(A): Not to be blunt, but that will be easy. That is how I have lived my whole life. When we are part of the same band I will give my life for you, even when I have a strong dislike for you. Only thats how these things work. Live together, die together, thats where I fell short, I couldn’t be there when my brothers and sisters fell, that won’t happen again!
The Alliance have launched an assault on the Horde of vast proportions. Your home city is under siege, you are defending the walls against your race's foes.
Caught on patrol whilst trying to reach you, your friends in the Marauders are taken prisoner by the Alliance, and in time will be executed. Your people will never allow you to leave; you can only abandon your post in secret. Leaving your post leaves a blind spot in your city’s defenses, one the Alliance are sure to notice and use to break through the walls.
If you rescue your friends, there is no chance you will be able to re-enter your city.
There is no chance the other races of the Horde can send military forces to your home city as they are fighting on their own fronts.
Time is growing short...
(Q): Do you abandon your post and leave your city to die or do you break out under cover of darkness to rescue your friends?
(A): That question is easy for me, I will go and rescue them or die trying, I couldn’t live with myself if I wouldn’t, I’m sure I can find someone trustworthy to watch over any blind spot.
