Q): Please note any RP experience you have (The Marauders are willing to help you if you lack experience considering you are willing to learn!)
(A): I have RP'd with some friends before and was a former member of the Banner of the Bloodhoof for a fair few months.
(Q): Why do you want to join us?
(A): Most of my friends have stopped playing and I'd like be in good company going into this next expansion.
(Q): What is your own definition of roleplay?
(A): To act as the character you play, with the morals, beliefs and characteristics you believe he would have.
(Q): What do you think makes a good roleplayer?
(A): Well, I think it's a matter of opinion. We didn't really give each other feedback. But, I like to think I'm mindful of the tone others set, and try to adapt to whatever scene or story I join.
(Q): Do you wish to raid with us? If so what experience do you have.
(A): I wouldn't mind dropping in on a few casual raids later on in the game, but I wouldn't be reliable for progression.
(Q): Are you interested in PvP such as rated battlegrounds and arena groups? If so, what experience do you have with these
(A): In all honesty, I am terrible at PvP. I'll help a hordey out in the world, but I end up more of a hamstringing, disarming distraction.
(Q): How did you hear about the Shatterskull Marauders? (Forum, friends, ingame etc)
(A): I saw players from the guild RPing when I was with the Banner. I never really had much time one on one with any of those players, but they appeared to be kind enough and varied in back stories. Smile
IN CHARACTER (Meaning it's a dialog)
Greetings potential Marauder. It is required of you to answer a series of questions in moderate detail so we can assess your suitability to us. We are a warband built on bloodthirst, strategy, honour, strength and respect. If you lack these, you are not the candidate for us. However, if you think you have what it takes, carry on!
(Q): Please state your name and the race that you hail from.
(A): I am Wulvgar, an elder orc from the Frostwolf clan.
(Q): Why do you wish to join the warband?
(A): I walk these lands alone, leaderless and without brothers and sisters, as it once was. I would not have it so. Our enemies number beyond count! Only a fool would refuse a host of strong warriors.
(Q): While with us, you will be required to fight. Are you willing to fight to the best of your ability for the sake of the Horde and the warband?
(A): You will have my strength, I swear it. No fellow warrior shall fall to a pointless death by my side!
(Q): Please tell us a bit about yourself, this can be personal history, hobbies, or anything.
(A): A blacksmith. That was my trade. But when the warhorns sounded, I heeded the call. I took up arms with my brothers and sisters and marched beneath the banner of the Horde. But that was many winters ago. I was a pup, blind to the purpose my blades were set to, hungry for glory! But there was no glory to be had on Draenor.
When Thrall came to be Warchief, I joined his mighty Kor'kron! I was proud to serve one as honourable as him! My purpose was true! Until tyranny took grasp of our Horde once more. I threw down the armour tainted by the dogs he trained, and took up arms with the Horde I fought to protect. Now, I am leaderless. What use is a warrior with no battle to fight? Take me into your ranks, and let me fight once more.
(Q): We are considered an elite fighting force amongst the Horde. What have you trained and specialized in? What makes you unique in combat?
(A): I was a Kor'kron, no mere front line grunt. Discipline! Strength! The will of many acting as one can turn the tide of any battle.
(Q): We as a warband are not fond on cowardice, disobedience, or lack of strength. How will you plan to prove to us you lack these traits during your initiation period?
(A): A challenge? Ha! Throw your tests upon me! You'll see there's plenty of life left in this old wolf.
The Alliance have launched an assault on the Horde of vast proportions. Your home city is under siege, you are defending the walls against your race's foes.
Caught on patrol whilst trying to reach you, your friends in the Marauders are taken prisoner by the Alliance, and in time will be executed. Your people will never allow you to leave; you can only abandon your post in secret. Leaving your post leaves a blind spot in your city’s defenses, one the Alliance are sure to notice and use to break through the walls.
If you rescue your friends, there is no chance you will be able to re-enter your city.
There is no chance the other races of the Horde can send military forces to your home city as they are fighting on their own fronts.
Time is growing short...
(Q): Do you abandon your post and leave your city to die or do you break out under cover of darkness to rescue your friends?
(A): A sad loss, but I will NOT leave my city to fall! A warrior is taught the shadows of death follow him when he first picks up the blade. My brothers should know this. I would raise a cup in their names. Some must sacrifice so that others may live. Had it been me, they should have done the same.
