OUT OF CHARACTER

(Q): Please note any RP experience you have (The Marauders are willing to help you if you lack experience considering you are willing to learn!)
(A): I have no experience really, but I really wanna learn! A bird wisperd in my hear that this was a good guild if you didn't have so much experince in RP.

(Q): Why do you want to join us?
(A): I wanna try RP seriously for the first time.

(Q): What is your own definition of roleplay?
(A): Hard question.. I've been RP outside the world of wow with just words like text message and so on, but now I want to take it to the next level and be the character fully out. I want to really live in to my character and just not play it... which happens when I get really into different kinds of RPs. I started cry once .. im kinda emotionell sometimes, heh.

(Q): What do you think makes a good roleplayer?
(A): Well.. when they live in to their characters and accept that everyone can make some misstakes sometimes.

(Q): Do you wish to raid with us? If so what experience do you have.
(A): Well I haven't been so active in wow until now, so all my characters is like lvl 50-65.. but when i reach the lvl I sure wanna try it out!

(Q): Are you interested in PvP such as rated battlegrounds and arena groups? If so, what experience do you have with these
(A): Well I leak on experience here as well.. but I can sure try it out.

(Q): How did you hear about the Shatterskull Marauders? (Forum, friends, ingame etc)
(A): A member in orcs of the blade.. I think the guilds name was that... gave me the tip about this guild.



IN CHARACTER (Meaning it's a dialog)

(Q): Please state your name and the race that you hail from.
(A): My name is Matsumoti and am a Blood Elf.

(Q): Why do you wish to join the warband?
(A): I dont want to be alone anymore.

(Q): While with us, you will be required to fight. Are you willing to fight to the best of your ability for the sake of the Horde and the warband?
(A): Yes of course I will fight!

(Q): Please tell us a bit about yourself, this can be personal history, hobbies, or anything.
(A): Uhm.. well im a person who loves the nature. I have my own horse and the best thing I know is to be out in the forest with her and feel the smooth wind in my hair.
I've been painting since I can't remember, I often paint when im stressed or very bored.
I also love music and singing, it's peacefull.

(Q): We are considered an elite fighting force amongst the Horde. What have you trained and specialized in? What makes you unique in combat?
(A): Well I need much more training before I even can say the word elite.

(Q): We as a warband are not fond on cowardice, disobedience, or lack of strength. How will you plan to prove to us you lack these traits during your initiation period?
(A): Well.. im a warm hearted person and my courage isn't the best, but I always listen to people around me. And I dont know how to prove it.. but I always want to do my best.

The Alliance have launched an assault on the Horde of vast proportions. Your home city is under siege, you are defending the walls against your race's foes.
Caught on patrol whilst trying to reach you, your friends in the Marauders are taken prisoner by the Alliance, and in time will be executed. Your people will never allow you to leave; you can only abandon your post in secret. Leaving your post leaves a blind spot in your city’s defenses, one the Alliance are sure to notice and use to break through the walls.
If you rescue your friends, there is no chance you will be able to re-enter your city.
There is no chance the other races of the Horde can send military forces to your home city as they are fighting on their own fronts.
Time is growing short...

(Q): Do you abandon your post and leave your city to die or do you break out under cover of darkness to rescue your friends?
(A): It's really hard do decide. I guess in the heat of the moment you know what you really choose. But I think in the end I would choose my friends.

Hey. We spoke yesterday. I understand that you are a beginner RP'er, willing to learn. As that is, I have a few concerns right now to begin with. First, the name of your character does not comply with RP standards, as it is not a very elfish name, but rather an OOC reference to Japanese pop culture. I don't know whether you are willing to pay for a namechange, but we could also try and report your name so Blizz might give you a freeone.
Second, your English needs some improvement, but I don't think that is too big of a deal, you'll learn when you go.
Third, I really understand getting emotional about your character, but at the same time, can you distinguish between IC and OOC? It isimportant that even when you get emotional about RP, you keep in mind that OOC you are a different person and the people you play with are not their characters IRL
I hope you don't mind me being a bit strict, we really like to help beginning RP'ers and if you tackle those concerns I'm sure we can recruit you.

Oh, Okey.. But I can sure change the name.. if you can fix the freeone. That's no big deal for me.
And I know my english sucks, but I will try my best to get better in english.
Well the emotional part stays in me, it never go out on my char. And I understand that the people I play with are not their characters IRL, im not that dumb. But I dont know what IC and OOC means.. :s

Hey, I just tried to report your name but apparently it's only possible when you are online and in chat, so we can right-click your name and report it for being a bad name :p. So could you possibly come online on tuesday for our weekly IC guildmeeting (20.30 servertime) so we can all click it and report you? I'll do the IC interview then, too.

okey, but somehow, someone has to remind me about it.. im free at tuesdays so it wont be a problem for me.
